This is a PHP-based sample program of the w3voice system. You can record your voice through your PC's microphone directly, and upload the captured signals to the Web server easily. It will provide a simple voice recording function by using the most simple way on the Web pages. If you want to have Perl-based CGI codes, please click here.
If you use a Java-enabled PC, you can see a recording panel below here. This page include "applet.js" to launch the "w3voice.jar", which is a simple Java applet to record your voice, and transmit audio signals to the Web server. When the recording panel is activated by pressing the button, your voice is recorded through the microphone. After the button is released, the panel begins to upload the recorded signals to the Web server. During voice recording, a bar of the panel acts as a power-level meter. You can monitor your voice signal level by observing the red bar. Subsequently, the Web browser shows the processing results a short time after the transmission is completed.
Recording will be continued while pressing the button
